Adult Faith Formation
All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.”
Matthew 6:32-33
A family-based weekly program of Faith Formation & Sacrament Preparation, taught by parents to their children at home, with monthly support classes at the Church, after the Sunday 12:00pm Mass, for parents and children/youth in K-12th grades, in their respective classes. Children younger than Kindergarten are welcome to accompany their parents in their support class. Preschool and Pre-K materials are available for home-study only. Materials are distributed in September and collected for review twice a year, winter and spring. Review of Preschool and Pre-K materials is optional.
The norm of the Archdiocese of Denver is for baptized Catholic children to receive the Sacrament of 1st Reconciliation (1st Confession) in 2nd grade, and the Sacraments of Confirmation and 1st Holy Communion (1st Eucharist) in 3rd grade at the same Mass. Baptized Catholic children/youth in 4th-12th grades may also receive these sacraments through Family Faith Formation. Unbaptized children/youth, and those baptized in a non-Catholic Christian church who are 7 years of age or older, may enroll in the RCIA Adapted for Children (RCIC). Baptism under 7 years of age is through the infant/child Baptism program. Contact the program director below to help you discern the best Sacrament Prep program(s) for your family.
Unique with its flexible schedule, Family Faith Formation is designed for parents who want to teach their children the Faith more intentionally, and help them live it well before, during, and after their initial reception of sacraments. We believe that the stronger the parent/child engagement in the Faith, the more effectively children/youth will mature into authentic and life-long disciples of Jesus Christ in His Church. The program begins September 2024.
The goal of Family Faith Formation is to help families deepen their love for Jesus Christ through encountering Him in the sacramental life of the Church, in family prayer, in the Truths of our Catholic Faith, and in a communion of life and love with God and neighbor.
Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not swerve from it.

Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength. Take to heart these words which I command you today. Keep repeating them to your children. Recite them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you get up.
